Experience the majesty of the forestlands during this slow hike and art-making adventure! With over 50 miles of trails and nearly 3000 acres to explore, the Anacortes Community Forest Lands have long been an inspiration to local artists and enthusiasts alike. Join Friends of the Forest and the Museum of Northwest Art to celebrate our relationship to the forests of the Northwest (and make some great forest art, too!) Dress in preparation for walking and sitting, and feel free to bring any field guides/art supplies that spark your imagination. Some basic art supplies will be provided to get started. Open to all! All ages and all experience levels are welcome. Rain or shine!
